I bought this lcd monitor as a replacement for a Samsung monitor I had bought nearly 4 years ago for almost 5X the price. I was a bit skeptical at first, but after using this monitor, I can say I have been pleasantly surprised.
Pros – Great Price. Clear, sharp picture. Very aesthetically pleasing, with a very unique design.
Cons – Power button is awkward to use. Frame is very prone to smudging and streaking, requiring constant cleaning to look sharp.
The pros FAR outweigh the cons. I’ll definitely be buying another of these when my other computer is in need of a monitor, and for the price this cant be beat.

After I had researched many monitors and finally happened to buy this one because of other people’s reviews and price. This is one of the best monitors in the market for the price. Clarity and brightness are awesome! Easy to set up, good size as a desktop monitor, great OSD control and also like the “Energy Star” feature.

I just built a new gaming PC that had HDMI output so I could do my gaming and movie watching on my 42′ LCD HDTV, however for everyday activities such as Homework for college, Net surfing, and emails I need a standard monitor(my previous computer was a laptop). Having sold monitors and having some knowledge about the industry I knew AOC was a reliable brand and this monitor was affordable with some nice qualities so I purchased it off amazon.com. It is all what I expected and more. It is a well performing screen and stylish more than most.

Just got this this monitor today. I spent something like $800 for a slightly larger size HP monitor, and this one, $700 cheaper, looks almost as good as the HP. The resolution and clarity on the HP is better, but the price of the AOC can’t be beat. So far it works great as a dual monitor setup with my Mac Pro. It came with a VGA cord, so I had to use a VGA to DVI adapter to set it up. But after plugging it in and doing the preferences set up on my Mac, it was good to go. Really appreciate the affordable price.
